Many of you have received the second-round email from ICCR and are now confused after seeing the mention of the SSSJSS-EDCIL Scholarship. Let me clarify this for you.
Based on my understanding, this is not a separate scholarship—it is a part of the ICCR Scholarship Scheme. EDCIL is simply a branch or partner under ICCR. After the main ICCR selection, a few additional seats are offered through EDCIL, and candidates for these are chosen from the existing ICCR applicants. You do not need to fill out any separate form for EDCIL.
If you’ve received an email like the one shown above, here’s what you should do next:
You’ll need to submit a new priority list of colleges and courses. This list might differ from what you initially selected while applying for the ICCR scholarship. Make sure to fill out the form as soon as possible to ensure the next steps in the process can begin.
Please note: this email is only a shortlisting notice—it does not guarantee final selection. If you are ultimately selected, you will receive an official offer letter either on the portal or via email.
If you haven’t been selected and are confused about your further study options, whether in Nepal or abroad. You can reach out to me on WhatsApp for free guidance and suggestions.
